In June 1973 John McLaughlin (guitar), Jan Hammer (keyboards), Jerry
Goodman (violin), Rick Laird (bass) and Billy Cobham (drums) went into
the studio to record what was meant to be the third album of Mahavishnu
Orchestra after 'The Inner Mounting Flame' and 'Birds of Fire'.
Unfortunately tensions went high and the album was not released. In an
interview 1977 John McLaughlin said he wished that the album would be
released one day, because "it's a great album." Fortunately the record
company released it in 1999. I am spinning the album in its entirety. Also on the program: Colosseum, Rick Wakeman, Aziza Mustafa Zadeh and A Kew's Tag.
