Prog Rock Community in Second Life
These weekend I am playing a special set inspired by the theme of the Burn2 event. The theme is 'Water'.

I am playing a special progressive rock set with the theme "Water".

After a while I am back with new prog from Northern Europe: Visilinja, a band founded in 2017 in Finland. They have released three albums so far, and I am presenting the latest one from 2024: Merkurius.
We are listening to fine symphonic prog with nods towards 70's Yes, King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator and Jethro Tull.
You will also hear another language: Finnish (one of the few non-Indo-Germanic languages in Europe).

Echolyn is a band based in eastern Pennsylvania. They are active sind 1989 and are one of the important bands of the 'third wave' of progressive rock since the 90's. They have released eleven studio albums so far. Album 10 and 11 are released on the same day in March 2025 with the titles Time Silent Radio VII and Time Silent Radio II. Time Silent Radio VII contains seven tracks, and Time Silent Radio II two tracks, hence the numbers! The songs were created between 2018 and 2024 and contain meditations on time and the currents of change inherent in it.
This weekend I am playing the album with the two songs.
