The French band Oiapok is basically a continuation of the band 'Camembert', including some of the same members. In this incarnation they released their debut album in 2022. On the sleeve it reads: "We created the story of an imaginary tropical bird, OisoLün (a kind of moon bird). He flies over a world in extinction, witnesses wars, hungers, massive fires, sea level rise and snow disappearance."
The music shows all kinds of inspirations from classical, jazz, funk and world music, with very unusual instrumentation including trombone, harp and xylophon.
